NZ Wine Region
Sit Back, Relax and Savor a Taste of New Zealand
Nestled at the top of the South Island in New Zealand, Marlborough — the country’s largest wine region. Recognized internationally for its distinctive pungency and zesty fruit flavors, Marlborough continues to establish a strong reputation for its Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Caressed by year-round sunshine and cool nights, the region’s climate helps build and maintain the notable flavors that make the wine capital of New Zealand famous.
For over 30 years, our grapes have been able to retain both a fresh, vibrant flavor and a crisp herbaceous character, thanks to the region’s distinctive day-to-night temperatures. The strong contrast between warm, sunny days to fresh, chilly nights promote invigorating flavors and help balance acidity levels. Wrapped in free-draining, earthy ground, this region’s soil allows our viticulturist to control the vigorous vines for optimum taste and quality.
With its breathtaking beauty, fertile plains and thriving vineyards, Marlborough has plenty to offer, whether it be prancing to the sounds of a spectacular cove, biking across the legendary Queen Charlotte Track, or savoring an award-winning Sauvignon Blanc.
